🤖 Ever wondered what AI transformation actually looks like in practice?
We're excited to introduce the monday Customer Zero website — a behind-the-scenes look at how monday's own teams are turning everyday work challenges into AI agents they use every day. 👇
🔗 monday.com/monday-on-monday
From Marketing and Finance to Product, People, CS, and more, you'll see exactly how different teams across monday are applying agents to real problems.
You can grab those same agents, connect them to your own monday boards and tools, and start using them in minutes! This is just Phase 1. We have more agents, more stories, and more inside looks at monday's AI transformation on the way.
We'd love to know which team's use case resonates most with your work? Drop it in the comments below! 👇
Hi community,
If you're already using AI Sidekick in monday, here's a workflow you might find useful.
We've recently integrated Board Email Reports with AI Sidekick.
What does this mean?
Instead of building reports manually, you can now simply ask Sidekick questions like:
Generate a report on tasks closed during the last 30 days
Sidekick can generate the report directly from your board data, and Board Email Reports can immediately send it to anyone — including people outside your monday account.
No automations.
No integrations.
No guest access.
Just enable the Send Email skill in AI Sidekick and ask for the report you need.
And write an easy prompt:
The best part? Reports can include charts and visual summaries directly in the email body, so recipients get actionable insights without ever opening monday🚀.
And if AI isn't your thing, that's perfectly fine too.
Board Email Reports also includes a collection of custom reports that can be scheduled and sent automatically through monday's Automation Center.
So whether you prefer:
AI-generated reports on demand
Pre-built scheduled reports
you can deliver board data directly to stakeholders without giving them access to monday.
I've created an app that uses a map to view sites. It currently uses the Opensource map, but I want to use Google Maps. I know I have to include API keys and I have all the information and ability to do it, but obviously I cannot edit the code directly, and I wouldn't want the API keys to be visible. How can I do it in a secure way? Is there a way to ensure it's stored in dedicated secrets area? What do you recommend?
Hi everyone 👋
We recently built IRIS, an AI agent integrated with monday.com that automates email triage for product-based businesses handling high inquiry volumes.
It monitors inboxes in real time, reads incoming emails, identifies intent, and automatically categorizes them into workflows like:
✅ Ready to buy
🎯 Potential lead
💡 Feature request
❌ Not interested
Result: less manual work, clearer lead visibility, and faster follow-ups.
Curious how are others handling inbox triage and lead qualification inside monday.com?
Most people have seen the colorful AI star icon in their monday.com workspace and kept scrolling. That's Sidekick! It's not a chatbot. It's not a help widget. It's an AI assistant that has full context of your boards, your items, your statuses, and your team — and can take action on all of it through a conversation.
Here's how to put it to work in the next 10 minutes:
1. Find it — click the colorful star icon
It's at the top of your board or next to individual item names. Click it to open the chat. You can also select up to 10 items at once and run batch actions through Sidekick.
2. Ask it about your actual work
Sidekick reads your board data in real time. You can skip the generic AI prompts! Ask it about what's actually happening in your operation.
3. Let it take action
Sidekick doesn't just surface information. Tell it what to do and it executes directly inside monday.com without you switching tools.
4. Add skills from the marketplace
Sidekick connects to external tools through skills. Just toggle them on in the Sidekick panel. Gmail, for example, lets you ask Sidekick to send a summary of completed tasks directly from chat.
Note: Sidekick is rolling out gradually in 2026. If you don't see the star icon yet, it's coming. Check back in your workspace over the next few weeks.
Have you used Sidekick yet? Drop a comment with the first prompt you tried; or the one you're going to try after reading this. The best one gets featured in our June 1st launch content. 👇
I spent about two hours this morning trying to build the simplest workflow automation imaginable, only to discover that it apparently isn’t possible.
The prompt: "When a new item is created in the Active sales pipeline group, enter the first 7 characters in the Proposal # column"
I wont bore you guys with the all the gory details of everything I tried but here is what I learned:
There is a substring command for extracting the first 7 characters of an item...
...but you can't use it in a text column for automating a workflow
You can can create a formula column to use the substring command...
...but you cant map the formula column to the text column because formula columns are read only
There is also apparently no way to email someone from Monday for support... so I'm here right now ranting into the ether 😆
In reality, if I could get this to work, it would save me about 10 seconds maybe 5-8 times a week. Is it worth it? Just to recoup the time I wasted in trial and error today, I don't think it pencils out.
Thoughts?
If you haven't tried monday.com's new AI Agents yet, now is the time!
The way we work is evolving and monday agents are your new teammates. Built directly into your boards, they don't just suggest next steps; they act on them. Assigning tasks, updating statuses, sending follow-ups, flagging blockers. All so your team can focus on the work that actually moves the needle.
The best part? No rebuilding your workflows. No learning a new tool. Agents plug into what you already have and get to work alongside you immediately.
We're still early in what's possible, but one thing is clear: people and agents collaborating as one team is the new frontier of how great work gets done.
Have you tried monday agents yet? What's the first thing you'd want an agent by your side for?
