The API for create_column doesn’t support using numbers in the column id. However, if I create a column without specifying a column id but the title has a number in it, the resulting column id will contain numbers.
Why is the API limited when numbers are supported?

Currently the numbers are used to differentiate IDs that are the same in the text of their IDs.
But I have created a request to add the ability to add numbers in a column ID so that our team can take it into account
