Use Case (The “Why”):
We are managing multiple complex projects for a client and need a master Gantt view that reflects the structure of each individual project board.
Current Limitation:
At present, the Gantt widget on a Dashboard only allows grouping by Board. It does not support secondary grouping by Groups within those boards. As a result, we lose a critical layer of detail — all tasks appear in a flat list under the project name, making it difficult to distinguish between phases or workstreams.
Feature Request:
Please add a secondary grouping option to the Gantt widget. The preferred hierarchy would be:
Board
Group
Item
This would make the cross-board Gantt view far more intuitive and versatile.
What are you trying to achieve
With this feature, we would gain a true high-level overview of all projects while retaining the essential structure of each one. It would significantly enhance our ability to manage timelines, allocate resources, and deliver projects more effectively for our clients.
