We’ve been having some issues with how users are submitting forms to Monday.com.
The first issue is users are not submitting their projects with reasonable due dates. Items are often populating into Monday.com with same day or next day turnaround time. These completion dates are not feasible for our team and cause unnecessary back and forth figuring out if this project completion date can be pushed back. Would it be possible to not allow due dates to be set within three business days of today’s date? Ideally, this date selection would be prevented in the form submission so that the submitter is made aware of this change then. I believe we could set up an automation to push due dates out automatically if they are within 3 business days from today’s date, but it would be preferable to have this set up in the form itself.
Additionally, we are having items come through lacking team-specific information required. I want to add conditional questions that prompt the user to provide additional details to the teams that are going to be required for the project they are submitting. When editing the existing form there is no option for me to make the question conditional and build out those conditional questions to obtain that team specific information. I haven’t been able to find much information online about conditional questions. Do conditional questions need to be attached to a specific column type? Is there a setting that needs to be changed to allow conditional questions? Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you
