When you use the WHEN automation along with DATE, you can not choose hours for when, you can only choose MONTH/WEEK/DAY… Another thing you can not make an automation to remind of you an upcomming DATE that has a time, for example if my Date:time is 6/27/2021 : 14:00 I can not send an automation to remind me of this 2 hours before, I can only either remind myself on the day of the event, at a specific time (so like at 9 am for example, but still run the risk of forgetting, especially if we have multiple events in a day)…
HI, Yes, this feature is desperately needed. You cannot automate only on the top of the hour
I’m surprised this doesn’t have more replies.
I need a webhook to be triggered whenever a DateTimestamp arrives. It’s actually making me think about switching to AirTable
Ditto what everyone else is saying. this feature is desperately needed.
Has anyone found any suitable work-arounds?
ABSOLUTELY. This level of optimization is essential.
It’s also the reason I still use my Trello account. At first I was basically using an automation to send items from Trello to Monday, but I’ve now started to do it in reverse because the Trello calendar, deadline options and kanban interface is better for my working style. We use Monday in the office, and I’d rather use that there and have Trello just for personal stuff, and with a few tweaks to Monday’s date/deadline setting, calendars and the kanban view, I would.
Hi,
I just voted for this because it is desperately needed. I can’t believe there aren’t more votes.
Hi all,
If you want to be reminder a certain number of minutes or hours before a date, and you’re open to using an app, you can use this automation from the Automato app:
The automation runs on the minute (give or take a few seconds).
There’s a free tier for 50 reminders per month at the time of writing, and the next option up is affordable. You also get access to a slew of other automations!
