Allowing Projects to be linked to more than one portfolio

Description

Currently projects are only linked to one portfolio. It would be useful to have an option to enable/disable linking to one portfolio, so that organizations can have the option to enable projects in multiple portfolios if needed.

Monday.com currently allows a project to belong to only one portfolio. This restricts flexibility when organisations need to report and manage capacity across different strategic lenses.
Business Need:

We maintain one enterprise-wide portfolio for overall visibility and governance.
At the same time, we need smaller portfolios that act like programmes of work for specific business areas (e.g., Marketing, Technology, Operations).
Since Monday.com does not have a programme-level concept, portfolios are the only way to group projects for reporting and capacity planning.

Why This Matters:

Capacity Planning: Teams need accurate resource allocation across multiple portfolios without duplicating projects.
Reporting: Executives require dashboards that show performance by business area while still rolling up to the enterprise view.

Currently, Monday restricts each project to a single portfolio, limiting flexibility for organizations that manage work across multiple strategic lenses. We need the ability to assign projects to both an enterprise-wide portfolio (for governance and visibility) and smaller portfolios that act as programs for specific business areas like Marketing or Technology. This would improve capacity planning, reporting, and governance—eliminating the need for duplicate projects or manual workarounds.
