Are column type rules fixed for every board or user can edit the rules?

I have several questions about types of columns;

  1. How to know if one column is nullable or not?
  2. Are these columns types rules changes by users on every board or can it be fixed?

  • Let me tell you what I mean;

    Dropdown is not nullable on API Requests, does this for every board or a user make it like this?
    Name field is not nullable on API Requests, does this for every board or a user make it like this?

and it goes on…

So is it fixed for every user and every board or it can be edited for every user and every board?

A user cannot change ‘type’ to nullable. They can convert some columns from one type to the other but cannot make them nullable.
For example, the ‘name’ column has to exist on everyboard and therefore not nullable. The dropdown can either exist on a board or not exist but not made nullable.
