In my Monday.com board, I have a parent task that we’ll say is: “Create marketing copy” and it’s set to August 7th. Is it possible to create a sub-item task for someone else that is created once the Parent August 7th due date is input, and then the sub-item date is set a week before like August 1st?
Yes, you can with a workflow. You’ll essentially tell it ‘When date changes on parent item’, create a subitem (pulling the date from parent item into a date column in the subitem). Then another step to ‘push date’ of the subitem (you can set it to do 7 days before).
