We desperately need a feature where files attached to email replies on line items automatically appear in the Files tab for that item.
Current Problem:
When clients or team members reply to Monday.com emails with attachments, these files don’t automatically show up in the Files tab. This means we have to manually download and re-upload them, causing:
Lost time and productivity
Risk of missing important documents
Difficulty tracking all files related to a line item
Broken file management workflow
What are you trying to achieve
Any file attached in an email reply to a line item should automatically be added to that item’s Files tab.
hi @aquibk ! Totally agree - having attachments from email replies stay only inside Emails & Activities and not appear in the Files tab breaks the whole file-management workflow. Manually downloading and re-uploading them isn’t scalable for any team working with clients.
If you need a workaround now, Email to Tasks for monday.com can help. It lets email replies (including attachments) be logged directly as item updates or as new items, and the files are placed into the Files section automatically. It keeps everything tied to the item without any manual steps.
