Hello I am creating a CRM that automatically uploads contacts created from Calendly using Zapier. Sometimes the customer will have multiple appointments with different employees for the same contact. This causes duplicate item names to be added to our contacts when they have multiple appointments. I want to edit the stage of the original item of a contact when a customer has a second appointment with us.
However right now there is no way to setup an automation for when an item is created and shares a similar item name with an existing contact to make an automation on that original item
For Example:
Customer John Smith schedules a Sales Appointment with Lebron James on a date his item is added to a board with item name John Smith and stage is set to Scheduled Sales Appointment with Lebron James as the owner.
Lebron James then schedules an Energy audit for John Smith with our Energy Auditor Michael Jordan. Zapier adds another duplicate item with the item name John Smith. This item being added uses an automation that updates the stage of the original John Smith Item with Lebron James as its owner to Waiting on Energy Audit.
Can this be done?
