Automation to have ITEM recur monthly, quarterly, semesterly, annually, etc

I have ITEMS (not groups) that I need to recur on various frequencies: monthly, quarterly, semesterly, etc. I have “Start Date” and “Due Date” columns, so I’d like the items’s date to adjust according to the dates that are set in those columns.

How would I create an automation, not using a 3rd party app, to do this. Do I need to create a colum with an identifier associated with the frequency to help with the automation?

Which product (CRM/Work Management, etc) and level (Pro/Enterprise) do you have?

It would be ‘easier’ if you had Enterprise, but definitely still doable with Pro! One way is to set an automation like the below for each of your ‘frequency types’. If you don’t want them item to be duplicated at creation, you can change the trigger ie when item is marked complete, or something like that.

When the duplicate is created, is there a way to not have it labeled (copy)?

Not without using workflows (which is part of enterprise) or using a 3rd party app or creating a monday vibe app on your account.
