When existing the automations page, we split into two groups:
the first group contains mouse users, and the second one contains addicted KB fans (like me).
For the latter, clicking the escape button is happens almost instinctively when trying to get out one stage, but still expect the system to alert us if we’re in the middle of esiting something important and about to lose all our changes if we continue.
When creating/editing an automation, clicking escape results in losing all your changes, without any prompt to save or discard, which can result in wiping out hours of work.
I was hoping these suggestions would resonate with you and our fellow community friends:
- If in the middle of creating or updating a specific automation or integration (changes were identified) - clicking eacape or even actually clicking on the ‘Back’ button would result in an alert warning to save or discard the changes.
- If merely viewing a specific automation (nothing changed) - clicking escape would naviage up one step to the automations list or automations center, instead of completely leaving the automations center ('cos that’s annoying too :-)).
