Current Behavior:
When grouping multi-board items by a status column, the grouping is done using the color of the tag instead of its name. For example, if in one board “Ready to Start” is blue and in another it’s yellow, it will put them in different groups.
What are you trying to achieve
Multi-board viewing using the List View custom widget is an essential feature - it’s actually the best workaround I’ve found for seeing items from multiple boards, filtering them, and managing them.
I’m using the status field to categorize my tasks into logical sections. For example, I have a sub-project status column with Project 1, Project 2, etc., then I can use that to group and filter the board and create custom views.
The problem is that with multiple boards in the same view, items from different project fields get grouped in the same groups by color. BTW, when trying to filter by a shared status column, you can choose between filtering by color or by text.
