I’ve been informed that the “Generate an AI report” for dashboards feature was removed from the platform on January 31. I found it useful.
What are you trying to achieve
This feature was useful because it generated a report in a Monday doc with editable text and screenshots of the charts.
Although the AI-generated text was not always accurate, it was not difficult to revise.
This feature saved me a lot of time because I didn’t have to manually take screenshots the charts.
I was advised that an alternative is to export the dashboard as a PDF. However, this is not as useful. The PDF does not include editable text. In addition, I can’t remove screenshots that aren’t relevant like I could with Monday’s AI-generated report.
My managers do not want to read a blurb that constantly references “see the ____ chart below”. They want the charts to be captioned.
