Description

The calendars for a board do not allow you to set a start time and an end time for an entry so you cannot block off the correct amount of time for an entry.

All you can do is use the generic default event time but this does not work if you want to use it as an actual calendar with multiple slots or one large time slot throughout a day.

You need to be able to select the date and start/end time so it can be represented correctly in the Calendar tab.

Is this something that is going to fixed in the near future as it is a very basic feature for a calendar?

What are you trying to achieve

Use the calendar on a Monday board as a an actual calendar with defined dates and start/end times where it is then blocked out for all to see.

I don’t want to link it to an Outlook or other calendar, or use a paid app :slight_smile:

Hi @richardspenceruk, We built an app called MasterPlan Calendar for Monday that could help with this. It lets you to display your items as calendar events based on start and end time. It also includes a bunch of other features beyond the native calendar to make scheduling and planning easier.

I agree. We tried using monday to track out-of-office for our team members, but since the TIMELINE option doesn’t include times, it fails for tracking dentist appointments and other out-of-office events that take only an hour or two.
