Can a Viewer interact with a Button on a board?

Is it possible for viewers to interact with a button programmed to notify board creator?

Unfortunately they can’t as clicking a button counts as making a change to the column/item.

When you would setup Column Level permissions and make the button column view only for certain users, they won’t be able to click it either. It would show a bubble telling them the column is view only:
