Change due date of dependent item when status is changed

Hi, I’m hoping for when with the status of an item is changed to done the due date for a dependent item is created to 5 days ahead. Is that possible? Thanks…

Hey Chris! This is possible but for this workflow you’ll need to set up two separate automation recipes:

  1. “When status changes to __, set date to __”

This date column in the above recipe can be “completion date” so that it marks the date the item was completed and then will trigger the next automation recipe.

  1. “When date changes, adjust another date by the number of days in number”

Hi Charlotte, thank you for responding. I have to admit I’m not seeing how to do #2. I’m not seeing when date changes only arrives or passes. Context - I just started using Monday yesterday (love it so far) so I apologize if I’m not seeing something right.

When date changes, adjust another date by the number of days in number.This automation is present in the automation section.
