change multiple column values on a single column

Hi,

Im using the change_multiple_column_values api for changing column values
for some reason , Im getting error while trying change single column using this api even though it worked in the past and the docs says it should work
error : “undefined method `each’ for nil:NilClass”
was there any change? should i use other api?
