Changing 'date last performed' within an automated item each time it is triggered

Hi there,
I am setting up an automation where a task will be recurring every 10 days. Is there a way to have a field ‘date last performed’ and have that updated each time the automation is triggered?
eg. if the task is triggered june 20, the 'date last performed would change to june 10, and so on.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi Jeff,

Simply add a date column and create an automation “When Date arrives, Then set Date to today and then push Date by -10 days”.
