I like to use the “blank view” to document project workflows and link important reference documents, such as style guides, SOPs, project templates, etc. However, when you add a link in this view, it is not clickable, which completely defeats the point. To work around this, we’ve been either: 1) not using Monday for this and housing these documents elsewhere (cumbersome), or 2) creating a group at the top of each board with reference links, but this makes it look like there are extra items and it gets in the way. Can you please make the links in the blank views clickable?
Hello
Have you trued using the Bookmarks Widget?
Hello @creeves,
You can try using the Kanban View for this setup and link your documents to the relevant items for easy reference. In the Kanban View, you can hide any unnecessary groups, ensuring a clean and focused display. The linked documents and links remain clickable, allowing you to open them directly from the board.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you need further clarification.
I haven’t! Just played with it. That’s semi helpful, but still not exactly what I’m looking for. I’d love to be able to type out a workflow and embed links within it (which I can do, but the links aren’t clickable).
Are you able to share a screenshot of your view?
You should be able to use hyperlinks in the Text widget (attached a screenshot).
After you’ve highted the work you want to use an an anchor, add the link by clicking the chain icon.
It’s not clickable for me, but I think thats a bug. You have to right click and select “open link”
