I’m trying to develop a summary board for a portfolio of projects by connecting the primary project plans to a summary board however when I select the column to mirror the timeline, date or summary columns are not available. I’m using multi level project boards. Does anyone have a solution?

Welcome to the community. Are you referring to the Beta feature to have multiple layers of subitems? Are you using the project portfolio board from monday Projects or another portfolio board?
Hi Bas - Yes I am using the Multi Layer board with multiple sub item layers. My requirement is to have the child items roll up to their parent and grandparent level etc and have the ability to mirror the Top level (or chosen parent level) details into another summary board. Challenge I’m seeing is when I try to mirror columns, the available columns is limited and timeline is not one of them.

You’re not missing anything. Timeline and Date columns don’t currently support rollups or mirroring from multi-layer subitems, so they won’t appear as options when connecting to a summary or portfolio board. This is a known limitation of the multi-level subitems beta.
Common workarounds:
• Use Formula columns on the parent level to calculate dates
• Mirror Date columns instead of Timeline, then recreate the Timeline on the summary board
• Use Automations to push child dates up to parent items
• Build the portfolio view using Dashboards and Timeline widgets

You can try the Mirror Item Multiple Boards app.
It allows you to add the same item to multiple boards and keep them in sync. You can create a master board with items and subitems from different boards.
