Conditional Status Change on Update Created

We are using as a project issue tracking system (think Jira, or ZeDesk). We have a desperate need to know when a customer (they are guest users on specific boards) creates an update on an item so we can update a status columns to show a Customer Update vs. an internal update.

I’ve been unsuccessful at creating an automation that is dependent on WHO creates the update, not who is in any given people column of the item.

Is there any way to do this?


This would be fairly simple in Integromat. I can do it, show you how or help however you want.
