Creating a batch of tasks automatically named after a pattern

On google sheets, I can name 3 rows “01”, “02”, and “03”, highlight those 3 items, and then drag downward to rename X amount of rows based on the pattern of 01, 02, and 03.

I was wondering if there’s any way to create 50 tasks, and have them renamed based on a pattern similar to how one can do on google sheets?

The current solution otherwise is creating items one at a time, typing the name, and pressing shift + enter to move on to the next one.

This would be fine, but sometimes my team has to create hundreds of these.

Hi @bread

Welcome to the community!

There isn’t the described functionality for monday.com items at the moment, but in circumstances where you have bulk to create sequentially like that, use the function in excel and just use the import tool to add those items to the board. You can still be done in minutes!
