Creating reports

We are using Monday for expanded client database and work order tracking. Our management requested report for each client of most recent work orders completed and scheduled for the future. I know I can export data to Excel and format such report. But we have many clients and this report needs to be run often. Any suggestions how I can implement it?

You can automate this directly in monday and avoid Excel entirely.

Best setup is a Clients board connected to a Work Orders board. Use a Connect boards column so each work order links to a client, then mirror the Status and Date columns back to the Clients board.

Add a Date Completed column that is set when a work order is marked Done, and a Scheduled Date for upcoming work. With mirror and formula columns, you can surface the most recent completed job and the next scheduled job per client.

Then build a dashboard with a table widget filtered by client. Management gets a live report that can be reviewed or exported anytime.
