CRM setup references

Hi there! I have this question on behalf of my boss - we are looking specifically into seeing how small businesses, preferably financial services/investment/asset management, track long-term investments and not just quick product-related sales. We want to see how other businesses have set up the CRM and are using it to figure out a more effective way.

Could you explain a bit more about the use-case and what you mean with ‚investments‘?

Are you referring to tracking your own investments (costs) in Infrastructure/Projects/staff to calculate the ROI?

Or are you referring to something like Customer Lifetime Value? The value you get out of your customer overall (future spent included)
