Customers want to know where their request is at in line

We’ve gotten requests from customers (guests) if they can see where their request is at in line to be worked on. If they send in a request they can only see their requests by design but they want to know if they are 5th in line of 5 requests or 5th in line of 60 requests. Right now we work on projects by the due date the customer enters on the form.

We tried doing a dashboard to show this but then quickly realized the customers will only see their requests in the metrics.

Any thoughts?
