Darshan Hiranandani : Need Help with Automating Task Assignments Based on Priority in Monday.com

Hi everyone,

I’m Darshan Hiranandani new to Monday.com and currently trying to set up an automation that assigns tasks to team members based on their priority level. For instance, I want tasks marked as “High Priority” to be automatically assigned to a specific person, while tasks marked as “Low Priority” would go to another team member.

I’ve explored the automation recipes, but I’m not sure if I’m setting them up correctly, or if there’s a better way to accomplish this. I also found this post: Automating Task Assignments Based on Custom Statuses, but I’m still not sure about the best approach.

Has anyone here set up something similar? If so, could you share the steps you took or suggest the best way to achieve this? Any advice on automating task assignments based on specific fields like priority would be much appreciated!
