I have the following columns; ‘Date Added’, ‘Priority’ and ‘Date Forecast’.
Each priority has a time associated with it: A=1, B=2, C=3, D=4
Depending on which label is selected from the ‘Priority’ column, I would like for the associated days to be added to the ‘Date Added’ value and to then be displayed as a result in a ‘Date Forecast’ column.
First day using Monday.com so really appreciate any help offered.
Hi @jwc1980 - Is Date Added the actual date the item as added and the Date Forecast is the Date Added + corresponding Priority value? Depending on the answer you may need a different solution. If the Date Forecast already has a value or is based on current date its easy.
When Priority Changes to A, set Date Forecast to today and push Date Forecast by 1 day When Priority Changes to B, set Date Forecast to today and push Date Forecast by 2 days When Priority Changes to C, set Date Forecast to today and push Date Forecast by 3 days When Priority Changes to D, set Date Forecast to today and push Date Forecast by 4 days
If not, and the date is blank and based on the Date Added, you may need so assistance from an app.
Hi Mark, thank you for the support. I discovered automations this morning, which is so much easier than formula based. In the words of my 9 year old; I am such a noob!
