Days without "missed deadlines"

I have a few boards with items and subtasks and deadlines. I would like to combine all the boards and create a counter like the ones “x days without accidents”.

A general one and one for each task owner (I use a status column to assign task owner and also the “People” option)

Then, when a deadline is missed, I want an automation that resets the general counter to 0, and also the counter for the corresponding task owner that missed the deadline, that way, people can compete with each other on not missing them.

Something like this:

What is the best way to achieve this?

Hey there @lucasp, really love the idea you have going here.

Doing this with Monday would require a somewhat complex solution, it would require multiple formula columns tracking the days, with in depth formulas on conditions for what value to project to the table. You would then need an app that can access the value of the formula column as text and then put that onto a dashboard.

Formula Eg:
IF (Due date > today, Day(due date) - Day(today) , If (Due date < TODAY , “0”))

You would need a board to hold the current total of numbers that your third-party app extracts form the formula column

This would be easiest solved using an app like Make. This would allow you to have a recurring automation that is keeping track of those numbers. I just played around with it on Monday and couldn’t find an easy solution.

That app is very affordable and seamlessly integrates with Monday.

We are a certified partner of both Make and Monday and would be glad to chat to figure out a solution for either way you would want. If that interests you, you can schedule a free call, and we can most definitely help you out. Calendly - Nathan Kind
