Default Template on New Boards

Hello,

I hope you’re doing well. I’d like to bring up a suggestion that could help streamline our workflow and save us valuable time when creating new boards on Monday.com.

Currently, when I click on the blue plus button and choose “New Board” >> “Create Board,” the default setting doesn’t automatically apply our “Raspberry Shake Template.” This frequently results in creating a new board, realizing it’s not utilizing the intended template, and then having to go through the process of deleting it and starting over with the correct template.

The current process involves several steps, including selecting the template and naming the board after creation. I believe it would greatly enhance our user experience if we could set the “Raspberry Shake Template” as the default option for new boards when using the “Create Board” pathway. This would effectively eliminate the need for manual template selection and post-creation naming.

By reducing these extra steps, we can avoid confusion and significantly expedite the process of setting up new boards. This change aligns with the idea of improving efficiency in our workflows.

I kindly request that we consider implementing this change to enhance our experience. I’m confident that making the “Raspberry Shake Template” the default choice for new boards created through the “Create Board” option would benefit us all.

Thank you for taking the time to consider this suggestion. I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts and insights on this matter.

Best regards,

Javier Aguirre

Hi Javier,

You can add multiple different automations to pick the right template for you depending on the trigger. Have you explored that option?

Thanks,
Nay
