Developer Access for CRM?

I filed a support ticket and was told there is no developer access for CRM. This means in order to test our marketplace apps for the CRM,we will either have to pay for the product after 14 days or create a new account for testing every 14 days.

Is there a way to get account credits to cover the cost as a temporary workaround?
