Did Monday do away with the “Kanban” widget/view? It seems like I used as early as a month ago (Dec 2025) Today when I tried to add it to one of my boards I couldn’t find it. I saw the “Cards” widget and some aftermarket-app looking Kanban type widgets/views, but not the original Monday.com Kanban widget. Can anyone let me know if they’ve run into this? Thanks!

Thank you for your quick reply @Clover_Gal, I was trying to add it as widget or view but it wasn’t available, but I see now today that it’s there. Do you know why it shows up as “new” since it’s been an active option? When you hit the plus sign, board views it says Kanban “new” along with something called “Canvas”, just a little confused. Thanks for your help!
Canvas is a new view, I’m unsure why it would show as ‘new’. Glad it’s back!
Hello @heatherl The Kanban view hasn’t been removed. It’s still a built-in board view, but it’s easy to miss with recent UI updates. Try clicking the + below your board name to open the Views Center, then search for Kanban under board views. It uses a Status column to create the lanes.
monday.com has also added the Cards view, which looks similar, and there are Kanban-style apps in the marketplace, which can make it seem like the original is gone.
