Display text for Email Column moves with item to new board

When you have an automation that states:

**When status changes to something, move item to board

any display text for the email column is not transferred, only the email address. For example:

Original board view = [Jane Doe] → New Board view = [jane.doe@email.com]

However, when you move the item manually, the display text transfers with the item. For example:

Original board view = [Jane Doe] → New Board view = [Jane Doe]

Please have the behavior be the same for both a manual move and an automation. Thanks! :blush:

You should contact support on this as this is clearly a bug, not a feature request…

What if we could break free of the Formula column? and write formulas that update any type of columns? What if a formula could update multiple columns at once? This is possible with the Advanced Formula Booster app.
