Duplicate project board with subitem settings for board views

Hello,

I’m facing an issue when duplicating boards in monday.com. The boards contain different views (such as Gantt, Kanban, etc.), but when I duplicate the board, the settings for Subitems are lost in those views. Is there any way to duplicate boards and retain the Subitem settings in all views?

I’ve also been wondering if creating a custom view app using the monday.com SDK could help solve this issue. Would it be possible to create a custom app for each view (like Gantt, Kanban, etc.) to retain specific Subitem settings and view configurations when duplicating or creating new boards? If so, what would be the best approach to develop such an app?

Any tips or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!

I haven’t tried it - but have you tried using the first board to create a template and then creating the new board from the template instead?

Thanks for your answer. I tried that as well. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work either—same behavior. Subitem settings are lost when Boards are duplicated or created from Template.
