Embedding images into email discussions

Description

We need to have the feature of when placing an image into an email that the image can be resized and moved around. The current state places the object into the email but you have no control on placement or size of the image.

What are you trying to achieve

To be given the ability to resize and move images placed into emails when sending information to requestors.

Yes, it would be super helpful to have some basic sizing controls like in Gmail… “Small | Best Fit | Original Size” type options would work. The draggable corner for resizing to exactly your desired size is even better! But even just options for Small / Med / Large would be great.

I have brought this up multiple times when talking to Monday support. I am hoping the more I voice the need it will eventually be brought to life.

@dpg-emilyw @mattzx11 If you are open to marketplace apps, you can do that with SuperMail.

Thank you for that suggestion. In my opinion, this should be a feature as part of the Monday Service application without having to pay extra. I am really hoping they will consider updating the current functionality.
Do you happen to know if the Supermail application will also allow for table to be pasted into an email. (i.e. Excel tables being pasted). This is another function that is lacking from the native option within Monday.

We are looking at SuperMail and it seems like it has some great functionality. The part I’m uncertain about is how it replaces or complements the core Emails & Activities email editor on a ticket. I had a note from SuperMail support that you “will not see inbound emails. Only emails that initially started from SuperMail will appear in the thread.” So, I don’t know if that would work for us because an incoming email is what initiates most actions and automations for our team.

@mattzx11 Yes, you can paste tabels into emails. You can also embed buttons in the body of the email that will trigger a status change (great for approvals via email).
