Enable HTML/Rich-Text Formatting for Emails via Outlook Integration

Description

I’d like to propose an enhancement to the Outlook integration on Monday.com - specifically, support for HTML or rich-text formatting when sending emails through automations or integration recipes.

Currently, emails sent via the Outlook integration are limited to plain text only, which means we can’t include:

  • Clickable hyperlinks or formatted links
  • Bold or italicised emphasis
  • Lists, headings, or paragraph spacing

This limitation makes it difficult to send clear, branded, or professional-looking messages directly from Monday.com, especially for customer-facing or internal notification use cases.

What are you trying to achieve

In CSAT workflows, it involves sending the customer the form link with the ticket id as the URL parameter - but currently the form link gets sent over as a plaintext and the customer has to highlight, copy, and paste the link manually into their browser address bar - which could significantly discourage customers from even filling in the CSAT survey in the long run.

Hey @james.cluniesross If you are open to monday marketplace apps, I suggest to try out SuperMail, it’s native monday app that does exactly what you asked. You can design rich text email templates with hyperlinks and then send them with Monday automations.
