Description
The Administration → Tidy Up area allows admins to restore archived boards but does not support permanent deletion. Likewise, boards can be archived from the Boards view but not fully removed. This leaves admins without a complete lifecycle management path for boards.
Automated cleanup and retention rules help in some cases, but they are not sufficient when admins need to make judgment-based decisions during audits, reorgs, investigations, or manual cleanup efforts. Over time, orphaned boards owned by deleted users and long-inactive content accumulate, contributing to clutter and governance risk.
Additionally, the Tidy Up list lacks sorting and filtering options, and also requires admins to open boards in new tabs to inspect their contents.
This makes large-scale cleanup slow, disruptive, and inefficient, especially in enterprise environments.
What are you trying to achieve
Enable global admins to perform effective, scalable cleanup by providing full lifecycle management of boards directly within the Tidy Up experience. This includes the ability to prioritize content through sorting and filtering, quickly review board contents without context switching, and permanently remove obsolete or orphaned boards when appropriate.
This would reduce legacy clutter, improve governance and compliance posture, and ensure the account reflects an accurate, current view of active work over time.
