Form Approvals/Data Display

Hi,

Hoping someone can assist.

We have built a form using monday, the form is for internal stakeholders and is used when they need a consultant for consulting services. This form can be submitted by various different teams, and depending on where the request comes from it will have a different subset of questions.

I have built the form and used the “if answer is one of” rule set to only show the relevant questions to the correct teams.

The issue we have is, when the form is submitted and it is sent to the approver, there is allot of blank columns where they arent required to answer the question as it doesnt relate to their team.

Is it possible when we get to this approval process, each request can be displayed on a dashboard or form or something similar where it is only showing the relevant information for that request? That way when the approver is triaging the request they aren’t seeing blank field?

Thank you

What about having specific board views based on ‘type’. Basically, on the board where the answers come into, filter it and hide columns that aren’t needed for that approval process and ‘save as new view’ (Then repeat for each process).

This might actually work.

It would mean the forms would need to go to a new board, which is related to that team.

How do i set it up so responses from a particular team go to different boards?

Thank you

I don’t think you’ll need to have them go to a separate board (though you could set that up to with an automation of 'if team is X, then move item to board Y). I’m thinking instead they’d all be on the same board and just have different tabs at the top based on team needs.
