Forward emails from Monday Service

We need an easy way to forward emails and keep the attachments without having to save and re-attach. Just like Forward functionality in regular outlook

What are you trying to achieve

We integrated with outlook to receive emails as tickets in Service. Sometimes we need to forward incoming emails off to another vendor or team that doesn’t use Monday.

hi @jlansky11! Forwarding emails with attachments is a known limitation in the native Outlook → monday workflow. Monday strips the original forwarding structure, so you have to manually download and re-attach files, which isn’t ideal for ticketing teams or anyone who needs to forward email-based requests to external vendors.

If you need a way to forward emails into monday while preserving the full message and attachments, one workaround is using Email to Tasks for monday.com. It allows you to:

  • forward any email directly into a board
  • keep all original attachments intact
  • log the forwarded message as an item or an update
  • avoid manually saving and re-uploading files each time

This makes it far easier to route emails to service boards and then send them onward to non-monday teams without losing context.
