How do i change the color of tasks in the gantt chat by person.

Hello @ You can’t manually change a specific person’s color in the Gantt chart.
When you set Color by People, monday.com automatically assigns colors based on each user’s profile color. Those colors are system controlled and can’t be edited from the Gantt settings.
The only way to affect it is to have that person change their profile avatar color which updates everywhere they appear.
If you need full control over colors, the workaround is to use a Status column instead of People. Status labels let you define exact colors and then set the Gantt to Color by that Status.
So in short
People colors are automatic
Status colors are customizable
