I am currently struggling with the General Caster app. I am no longer able to use the formula column as a column I can cast into a numbers column. I thought that was previously an available column.
Is there a change that has taken place in the last few months that discontinued this feature?
I am having the same issue, I think Monday changed something on formulas bc I am having other issues with formula columns as well.

Hey Amanda and Tammarie 
You’re right, this is due to a platform change. Formula columns are no longer treated as numeric columns, so apps like General Caster can’t cast them into Numbers columns anymore. This isn’t an app bug, but a broader monday.com update.
Common workarounds
Use a Numbers column to store the value and keep the Formula column for display only
Recreate the logic directly in a Numbers column where possible
