I’ve been working on a Prospect Directory in Monday.com, and I’ve run into a challenge that I hope someone here can help with. My board structure is as follows:
- Items represent companies, with columns containing company details like website, industry, etc.
- Subitems represent individual contacts within each company, with their personal information such as name, email, gender, and greeting.
I want to set up an automation to send personalized emails to these contacts based on various campaigns (e.g., Happy New Year 2025). The email would be tailored according to factors like gender, greeting, and language.
While I can easily set up the automation for the main item, I’m unable to do this for the subitems. I tried using a status change in a subitem to trigger an automation for the main item, but unfortunately, I can’t access subitem emails this way.
I’ve also explored integrations like Zapier and Make, but I haven’t been able to make it work yet.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue? Is there a workaround to avoid creating separate items for every contact, while still keeping them grouped by company?
