Historical Time Tracking

One of the main reasons we decided to start with something like Monday.com was to track how much time each of our clients requires of our team members. Our business is very much a “bookkeeping” type workspace where we utilize an excessive amount of weekly, monthly and quarterly recurring tasks.

While time tracking has shown promise, the only way I have been able to figure out to keep a historical record of this time keeping is to move completed items to an “Archive” board where they can be referenced back to in dashboards. This requires an abundance of automations that move and then re-create items on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. It would be much easier to have a feature that provided some type of historical record of time-tracking so that I could simply “reset” my boards at the beginning of each task-period.

Is there a way to do this, am I missing something, or is Time Tracking just not used much in this way by Monday.com subscribers?
