I run a website tracking gold prices in Turkey and I’m looking to integrate a live update workflow using monday.com. I’d love to know:
What’s the best way to automatically import live gold price data into monday.com?
Should I use “monday.com Apps & Integrations” or build custom workflows with the API?
How have other users managed “real-time external feeds” using monday.com boards or dashboards?
I’d appreciate any advice or examples of similar setups you’ve done, thanks in advance!
I tried to do this with MondayVibe, but for some reason, it would never get the price of gold accurate.
Gold, as of writing this comment is currently priced at: £3,039.86
Monday Vibe shows the gold price to be: £1,935.86
As you can see, this was completely unreliable for us. We bloody wish gold was that price!!
What source do you use to get the gold prices? Does it have some API available? If so, setting up even a simple workflow with make.com can do its’ work. If not, I would try to use a scraper or maybe build some AI agent, but it may give you false prices unfortunately. Relying on API should give you the best and most accurate results.
