I am having trouble getting my custom widget preferences in my template to transfer over to the used board. Is this a bug or perhaps I am doing something wrong. Any ideas out there on how to preserve the custom colors, or sort order of a widget from a template? thanks
Hello @dhurst This is usually expected behavior, not a bug. Some widget settings like colors, filters, and sort order don’t always transfer when using templates, especially on dashboards.
Try duplicating the original board or dashboard instead of using a template. That method typically preserves widget preferences. If it still happens, it may be a platform limitation worth reporting to support.
