I would love the ability to connect a whole board to an item

We have a commercial board to track project sales. Once the project has been confirmed we then create a new board to track all of the task for that project.

Currently when you create any task on the project board, you need to connect each item to the project in the commercial board. This is a bit tedious, especially when we work from Dashboards where you can’t batch update.

Ideally we would like to connect the whole board to the project item in the commercial board, so we don’t have to connect each individual item to the commercial project item.

We’ve developed an app called Advanced Item Link & Match. It was built to address monday’s native solution shortcomings. Including the option to define if you want to connect multiple items at once or just one.

In your case, you can just specify a matching condition of some sort (below is an example with 2 conditions but you can use one) and decide to “match all items” and it will connect all.

You can find it in the monday.com app marketplace in the platform.
