Import file not working with "Overwrite existing items" selected

Hi, I’ve tried looking through the forum and didn’t see this posted anywhere.

I’ve been using Monday’s import feature for years and using the match by “overwriting existing items” feature. Lately when I’ve tried using this option, nothing happens. No items are added to my board when I import.

It works fine if I select “create new items” but sometimes I just need to update one column on the items.

Is this happening to anyone else?

For what it’s worth, I’ve tried matching on a unique identifier text column and also on the email column.

It sounds like you’re encountering a recent issue with the “overwrite existing items” feature during import on Mondaycom—specifically, the update function seems broken while the “create new items” still works.
