Interruption of the Monday.com workflow after a change

Hi everyone,

I’ve been experiencing an issue with Monday.com automations and wanted to see if anyone has found a solution.

Every time I create an automation with a sequence (for example: send an email → wait a few days → send another email → wait again → send another email), I’m actually building a full workflow.

The problem arises when I want to make a small change — for instance, simply editing the content of one of the emails. Even if I don’t change the structure or logic of the automation, just updating the text of a single email causes the entire workflow to break or stop functioning properly.

Is there a way to make content edits like this without interrupting the whole workflow?
I’d really appreciate any tips or best practices to avoid this kind of disruption.

Which product (CRM/Work Management, etc) and level (Pro/Enterprise) do you have?

Are you using workflows? Or email sequences?
