I’m currently using Monday as a project management platform but I wanted to try the inventory system as a possibility to manage our campus apparel. We have a variety of hoodies, different colors, designs and sizes. I’m trying to figure out how to work with my team so that my admin can distribute items to students and handle inventory reduction. This seems basic in Excel, but I would like to do it in here if possible. Any suggesetions?

I’m also looking for a solution for tracking the marketing departement promo items inventory.
There’s a paid app that looks amazing (Inventory app in monday). But the yearly cost doesn’t make sense for the small usage of our stock.
If you have small usage, you could make something work within your monday acct. Which product (CRM/Work Management, etc) and level (Pro/Enterprise) do you have?
I ended up finding a very thorough Excel template that did everything I needed it to do. Track invoices, recived items, putting them in inventory and tracked sales as well. Getting any support from Monday was excruciating and seemed like every solution they just wanted me to pay for additional services.
Not worth the headaches so Excel worked PERFECT for our company.

I have the work management version.
I have used a template for my inventory. But whenever I use some of the items in the inventory, I have to manually edit the remaining column. And I have to log in the infos in the notes part, which is not ideal - but the only way I see possible to keep track of the movements.
I understand that - but it’s ideal to have everything in one platform.
This is why I use Monday despite all - but definitely not paying more then the pro account.

You can use connected/mirror & formula columns to get it to update your inventory board. What is your current set up? ie do you have a board with orders that you want the qty from columns to take out of inventory?
