Currently, the UI for the last_update column can display the user who last performed the update and some derivitive of date/time (since last update or date/time of last update for example). However, the API only provides the date but not the user who last performed the update. It would be incredibly useful for those of us syncing information with other third party apps to have the capability since it allows us to most easily control and to prevent loops.
